How To Quickly Set-Up Infusionsoft E-Commerce

There are 5 steps in total that will allow you to quickly set-up e-commerce in Infusionsoft.

 

STEP 1: SET UP ORDER SETTINGS

Go to e-commerce -> Settings and check the details for each of the following items under the following headings. The set up below is how I have set up my e-commerce system to a fast start but feel free to change the settings to match the needs of your business.

– Product

  • Run Purchase Actions On All Orders: Yes
  • Track Inventory? No
  • Track Product Unit Cost? No

-Orders

Make sure you set your Orders defaults. For the UK you need to change the following:

  • Country: United Kingdom
  • Currency: British Pound [GBP]
  • Default Charge Tax? Yes
  • Allow UK Maestro Cards? Yes

-Quotes & Invoices

For the UK you will need:

  • Enable payment collection on Invoices: Yes
  • Invoice Title: Tax Invoice
  • Tax Label: VAT

-Sales Tax

Add a sales tax if UK based.

How To Quickly Set Up E-Commerce in Infusionsoft

 

 

 

 

STEP 2: ADD PAYMENT TYPE

Go to E-commerce -> E-Commerce Set Up
Under Payment click on ‘Payment Types’ and select your form of payment. We use Infusionsoft Payments.

 

STEP 3: ADD A PRODUCT

Go to

  • E-commerce -> E-Commerce Set Up
  • Click on Products
  • Then click on ‘Add a Product’ button.

Make sure you select ‘No’ to shipping unless you have set it up or would like to charge shipping costs.

 

STEP 4: CREATE YOUR ORDER FORM THEME

Do the following:

  • E-commerce -> E-Commerce Set Up
  • Under Design click on ‘Order Form Themes’.
  • Click on ‘Create New Theme’ button

 

STEP 5: CREATE YOUR ORDER FORM

Now it’s time to link your product and theme together!

  • Go to E-commerce -> E-Commerce Set Up
  • Under Checkout click on Order Forms, ‘Create New’
  • Use the naming convention: [Product Name] Order Form
  • Choose product and click ‘Add Product’
  • Customise your ‘Thank You’ page
  • Check ‘Notify Me’ and ‘Hide Promo’.
  • Click ‘Save’

That’s it, we are done!
